Dr. Alex W. Ramos is a passionate implant and cosmetic dentist dedicated to advancing the field of oral implantology through clinical excellence and lifelong learning. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Ramos has committed his career to providing high-quality implant dentistry to the Charlotte, NC community. He blends surgical precision with restorative artistry to help patients regain function, confidence, and quality of life.
Dr. Ramos earned his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College in 2010, following his undergraduate studies in the biomedical sciences program at the University of Puerto Rico in 2005. His pursuit of excellence in implant dentistry began early in his career when he completed the Georgia AAID MaxiCourse in 2012, a comprehensive program that deepened his surgical and restorative implant expertise. Since then, he has continued to refine his skills through advanced national and international implant training, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest innovations in full-arch rehabilitation and complex implant procedures.
As an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID), Dr. Ramos is part of a select group of dentists recognized for their advanced training in implant placement and prosthetic restoration. His commitment to serving both his profession and the community has also earned him the distinction of Fellow of the International College of Dentistry (FICD) and Fellow of the Academy of International Dentistry (FAID).
Dr. Ramos specializes in full-arch implant restorations, immediate-load implant protocols, and complex surgical implant procedures, utilizing advanced techniques and digital workflows to achieve predictable, long-term results.
