Dr. Sweeney earned her doctor of dental medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Originally from Syracuse, New York, and now based in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Sweeney brings a warm, gentle, family-focused approach to dentistry.
Committed to ongoing education and clinical excellence, Dr. Sweeney stays up to date with the latest advancements in dental care to support excellent outcomes for every patient. She is passionate about promoting lifelong oral health with a strong focus on preventive and restorative care for the entire family.
With a warm and approachable chairside manner, Dr. Sweeney takes pride in helping patients feel at ease while delivering personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. She values building long-term relationships grounded in trust, communication, and education. Dr. Sweeney is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Sweeney enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, whether she is out for a run, playing golf or tennis, or trying a new workout class in the neighborhood. She also loves traveling and spending time with her husband, as well as visiting family and friends along the East Coast.
